Do you guys want to hear a crazy story?

I went with joe to pick up our jetta from the dealer today. The car was getting undercoating and paint protector put on.
So I drove in joe's civic during rush hour to the dealer. On the way back joe had to drive the jetta while i drove the civic all by myself.

Traffic was heavy but i was doing a good job following him since I have done it before. But we had to get on the highway and then take the first exit.
Getting on the highway was no problem. But there were so many cars that cut in between joe and I.. so i could not see him!!
joe got off the next exit right away.

But I DID NOT SEE HIM UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE!!!

Joe was going down the exit ramp but I already passed it!!!!

"OH NO~!!!!!"

"WHAT TO DO??" "WHAT TO DO??" "WHAT IF I GET PULLED OVER!!" (just let you know that I only have a permit!!)
"WHAT IF I GET INTO AN ACCIDENT!!!!" "HOW AM I GOING TO FIND MY WAY HOME???"

I got scared, but I did not want other ppl to think that I am a novice driver... so I kept my COOL..... kept my eyes ahead... and i just kept driving..
Finally, I decided to turn right... and there was so much construction.. oh GOD.....should i stop at a gas station? or Mc Donalds?? I was to scared too stop.. so kept going.. then i decided.. "oh well~~ I will just follow the car in front of me" the car in front of me led me to I-88 and I said "I know that highway.." so i floored the gas as I went down the entrance ramp (joe taught me to speed up when I need to merge...) and then there was a toll booth. "oh man... where's the dong-jun?" so i fumbled through the change joe leaves in the cup holder and paid 40 cents. As soon as I started going again, I saw the sign saying,"cermak rd, next right"....."that's my street!!!" so i got off the exit and found my way to the apartment.. home at last!!!!!!

so i went up to the apt.. and called joe's cell phone.. he sounded like he was crying..and keep saying... "where are you,Gyju??" "where are you,Gyju??" and I said "mol la~~~" and pretended i was lost still~~~~ when he asked me where i was calling from, i SIMPLY said, "I AM AT HOME!!" and he was so surprised and relieved that i made it home all by MYSELF!!!! THANK GOD!!!

WHAT AN ADVENTURE~~!!!

I never want to do that again~!! NEVER... EVER.... NEVER.....

The joe's point of view...... As soon as I saw that gyju was not following me off the highway, I was like "OH NO...GYJUUUUUUU, GYJUUUUUU!" So I slammed on the gas, got off on the next exit, doubled back and came back to the road gyju was supposedly still on. I was driving looking out both sides of the car to see if she had pulled over somewhere, but no white civic anywhere in sight. I pulled over to a gas station and stood on the corner hoping to see gyju come back around, holding my cellphone waiting for her to call...then I remembered that she didn't have her cellphone on her. "stop gyju! anywhere, just stop and call me now" I said. Finally, couldn't stand just waiting around so I got back in my car and kept going on the same road...."what's that up ahead? flashing blue and red lights???!!!" I thought, that must be gyju pulled over for sure....as I got closer, "It's a white car!!" even closer,"oh, it's not a honda...where could she be?!?!?!" I kept going, and to my surprise stumbled upon our street. So I headed home to see if somehow she too found this street and found her way. On the way, she called me and let me know she got home ok. I was sooo relieved....to know my Honda civic was alright! just kidding! hehehe That was one of the worst feelings I had when I lost my wife... don't any of you ever do it! And I can't believe how she found her way differently than the way I came....that was the long, random, lucky way. God was really watching for us there.
