Back in Chicago again.... Trying to adjust from jet lag is tough! I haven't had a good stretch of sleep since I got here 2 days ago.
It's almost 1 am, cannot fall asleep, so I thought I'd do some blogging. Whatever follows will probably be random, so if you're expecting a purposeful blog entry, stop here.
Nice to see Ed finally update his blog...it's been almost 2 years! It's looking nice, so click on his link and check it out.
Gyju and Jane are away in Baltimore for a conference...they were requested to be on the worship team. So I'm alone again for another week. Hopefully I can keep myself busy. I start my ER rotation this week...my last rotation of med school! How time flies!
I also need to start looking for a place to buy...assuming I'm approved for a home loan. I dunno...I think my credit is ok, but with debt climbing into six figures, who in their right mind would want to give me more money? If Bill Gates would just give me 1 days worth of his salary, I'd be in good shape...he wouldn't miss it.
My second year of marriage is quickly coming to a close, and the question on everyone's mind seems to be, "So when are you gonna have kids?" Have a kid? Of my own? I dunno if I'm ready for such a task...feel so young still... I remember while doing my pediatrics rotation, I'd be taking care of some screaming tots in the nursery....I was just glad that when the day was over, I would be in the peace and quiet of my home. But to be immersed in that sort of environment 24-7-365??? Overwhelming.... actually, I guess Gyju would receive more of the burden than me, but still...
Well, I guess in 2 years would be ideal time to have a baby...but I'll just trust in His timing...has worked so far
Went to church tonight...it was great to see familiar faces again...had a powerful time of worship and study. Felt good to be back.
After being in Korea for a month and speaking the language, I've noticed that my English is a little sluggish. I know exactly what I want to say, but it takes that extra second and more effort to spit the words out.
