I was headed towards my car to go to an appointment. As I got in the car, I felt my foot slip along the floor mat. To my horror, I saw a brown streak on the mat....my worst fears were verified by the brown on my sole and a pungent stank starting to fill the car. I wish ppl would really clean up after their dogs....just nasty!
Anyhow, I was late, so I wiped up as much as I could with some napkins and got in the car, being careful not to let my right foot touch the mat as I hit the gas...
Luckily, the building around the corner had a hose... I pulled over, took out the floor mat, and hosed it down along with my shoe.
By now, I'm getting pretty late for my appointment and I'm all wet from the knees down. I finally get to the hospital and run into the department office only to find out that my appointment has been cancelled.
What is God trying to teach me through this experience? Testing my patience....or maybe not to love my car too much.... hehe
