Went to church today...discouraged to see that only 1 of 3 youth band members came. On the drive home, I realized what a nice sunny, cool day it was...so I took my Civic front lip outside and sanded it down. Started out with 80 grit to take off the rough edges...then 180 grit to take out the rough scratches from the 80 grit. Then I sanded the whole thing with 320 grit until the entire piece was smooth and no longer shiny. Now I just need to go over the whole thing again with 400 grit, wash, and then spray on 2 coats of adhesion promoter....hopefully I'll have time this Saturday to finish up. Still no success with removing the 2 sideskirts....I'll try again later.
